10 Spring Break Fashion Tips When Traveling To The Mountains

Spring Break is just a little reach from us and I am SO excited for a relaxing break! A lot of college students go on vacation to a different state during this break including moi. Some make their way to warmer weather to soak up the sun on a beach, while others (like me) make their way to colder weather to ski or snowboard on mountains. While searching Pinterest I couldn't find many tips on spring break fashion in the mountains so with that being said today I will be give you ten tips on how to look cute while skiing/snowboarding on the mountains!

1. Most Importantly a Winter Coat!
When going from sunny and 75 to snowing and 25 you will definitely need a warm coat. Its a very big change in weather and so you want to make sure the coat keeps you nice, cozy and stylish, but also doesn't break the bank. There are a lot of really nice brands that work just as well as the bigger brands like North Face and Columbia! The biggest trend right now when it comes to coats and jackets is anything with "fur".

2. Snow Pants or Snow Overalls
You'll want a pair of these to keep your legs warm and dry if you ski or snowboard. It's really cute to pair our jacket with a pair of colored pants or overalls if you decide to wear a black, grey or white winter coat. My go to colors would either be pink, teal or burgundy!
$110

3. Cozy Jacket
When you aren't skiing or under your coat, its nice to have a cozy jacket or quarterzip on to keep you warm while you are relaxing! I wear these all the time because you can pair them with yoga pants and boots and then your good to go.
$14.99

4. All Weather boots
With all the snow, your boots are bound to get wet If they aren't waterproof then you'll run the risk of ruining your nice pair of boots and we don't want that! A cute pair of all-weather boots, yoga pants and quarterzip can complete your outfit for the day!
$79.97

5. Fury Vest
One night you may decide to go out for a nice dinner and think to yourself "what should I wear when its this cold outside". Here's my solution for you:
1. Long sleeve shirt of your choice
2. Pair of jeans or yoga pants
3. A fury vest!!
Vests in general just add to an incomplete outfit and can also take your outfit from casual to fancy. They are cute, comfortable and help keep you warm!
$24.75

6. Mittens or Gloves
You definitely don't want your hands to get cold! Gloves in general an be pricy and definitely the ones that really keep your hands warm and are tech proof. I like mittens because they are super cute, but gloves are just as great and its easier to use your phone with them!

$39.00
7. Fury Hat
Hats add to an outfit when going out to eat, shop or ski the mountains, but they also keep your head and ears nice and warm! My favorite brand is C.C. Beanie because they are reasonably priced and super cute!

$14.00

8. Warm Scarf
You'll  want to make sure you are keeping every inch of your body covered when going out especially at night because it gets very cold and you don't want to run the risk of frost bite! Scarfs are an easy way to keep your neck and mouth area warm while keeping it stylish!
$25.97
9. Stylish Goggles
If you are on the slopes you will want a pair of goggles to keep the snow and sun from blinding you! Most goggles, unless you are buying them from amazon will cost a pretty penny, but are well worth it in the end. With that being said you might as well pick out a pair that goes with your ski/snowboard outfit!
$50.00

10. Swimsuit

Did I hear someone say HOT TUB! Most of the resorts have heated pools and hot tubs so you'll defiantly want to bring a cute swimsuit to relax after a long day on the slopes or to get that insta post in.

$80

I hope this helps you when looking for your perfect insta worthy ski/snowboarding outfit!
Until next time,
XOXO
